Even though he is not as well-known as other lawmen from the old west, Dallas Stoudenmire was involved in more gunfights than most of his better known counterparts, such as Wyatt Earp, Bat Masterson, Doc Holliday, and John Selman. Dallas Stoudenmire is best known for killing three of the four men killed in the "Three Dead in Five Seconds" gunfight.
